Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Care

Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, nursing, social work, and allied health professionals to develop and deliver comprehensive care plans. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions. Provide consultation to team members on psychological assessment and therapeutic approaches. Foster effective communication and teamwork to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every client.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in compliance with CAP, CPSA, and applicable legal and ethical standards of confidentiality. Document assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures regarding clinical documentation.

Professional Development

Stay current with evolving research, best practices, and developments in psychology and emerging treatment modalities. Engage in ongoing professional development including conferences, workshops, and training programs. Maintain professional registration and participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills.

Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards established by the College of Alberta Psychologists and relevant professional associations. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and colleagues. Uphold the principles of confidentiality and privacy in all clinical and team interactions.
